Every year, WaterAid publishes the most comprehensive accounting of where the world stands on water access — who has it, who doesn't, and what's getting in the way. They work in 28 countries, and what they publish shapes global water policy. I read their State of the World's Water report each time it comes out. Not to feel helpless, but to stay grounded in the actual scale of what we're working on. This is one of the organizations doing the most honest work on water equity in the world. Worth knowing.
