I want to share something that I think deserves real attention. Canada just committed five hundred and fifty-two million dollars to water research — and Dalhousie University's Water RESILIENCE Lab is part of that investment. That level of funding isn't symbolic. When a national government invests at infrastructure scale, it means water security has officially joined the short list of national priorities. And the work coming out of this lab is specifically designed for climate-stressed communities — monitoring technologies, treatment systems, the tools that matter on the front lines. What I find important is that they're building open-access tools. The research reaches the communities that need it, not just the journals. That's how public science should work. Worth following. I'll be watching closely.
