Founder, I Drink Living Water

I chose Sugihara because the whole story is in his hands — he hand-wrote visas eighteen hours a day, against his own government, and passed the last ones through the train window as he left. He never called it heroism; he called it the only thing a person could do. Amplifying him keeps Sugihara House — and HIAS, still doing this work for refugees today — in the light too.
